about SLVR L7 and moto4lin
Seems to work fine. Can list all the files in the phone (remember to set the phone's USB connection to data first so it doesn't appear as a USB mass-storage device) and download things from it.
Am now trying to make KMobiletools work with it.
One thing I've noticed is that when switching between AT and P2K modes the /dev/ttyACM0 device node vanishes. This is with kernel 2.6.16-gentoo-r1.

Sprint's version does NOT work fine.

No ACM0 is created in /dev/ttyACM0, even after manually loading cdc-acm.
After connecting device, all dmesg says is
usb 5-5.4: new full speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 59
usb 5-5.4: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
There does not seem to be any setting on the phone itself to change usb connection to data first, as was recommended.
