I am not yet able to get Moto4Lin to work successfully with ROKR E6. Here are the device information that I have observed.
Device IDs for Moto4Lin
These are the device IDs that I have tried with Moto4Lin. Please correct if it is wrong.
| AT Vendor ID | 22b8 |
| AT Product ID | 3802 |
| P2K Vendor ID | 22b8 |
| P2K Product ID | 3801 |
Debug Info
On connecting the device to the USB port, it is detected as follows. Please note that you have to change the "USB mode" to "Modem" and set the modem setting to "Auto Launch" on the mobile.
[ 4517.292000] usb 5-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2 [ 4517.424000] usb 5-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice [ 4517.948000] cdc_acm 5-1:1.0: ttyACM0: USB ACM device [ 4517.948000] usbcore: registered new interface driver cdc_acm [ 4517.948000] drivers/usb/class/cdc-acm.c: v0.25:USB Abstract Control Model driver for USB modems and ISDN adapters
The output of lsusb is as follows.
Bus 005 Device 028: ID 22b8:3802 Motorola PCS C330/A780 GSM Phone
Connection using Moto4Lin
When I tried to establish the connection with the phone, the message that I got on the Moto4Lin console is as follows.
[info] Phone pluged as AT Try to connect [info] AT phone found [info] Switching device /dev/ttyACM0 to P2K mode... [info] AT E0 answer: AT E0 [info] Phone answer: OK Will launch MotPst, exit modem... [error] Unable to connect [info] Phone is unpluged
I am not sure what is the error here. But once Moto4Lin switches the device to P2K mode, the device seems to disconnect from the USB.
[19736.904000] usb 5-3: USB disconnect, address 25 [19737.144000] usb 5-3: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 26 [19737.276000] usb 5-3: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
Someone can throw more light here on what is happening.
